Original: Die Privatsphäre-Bibliothek, Teil 3: Warum Vergessen eine Tugend ist Die ersten beiden Teile der Reihe Privatsphäre-Bibl
The third part of the German-language 'Privacy Library' essay series has been published, arguing that forgetting is a virtue. The first two parts examined the common phrases people use to close off debates about privacy. The new instalment continues the series' exploration of how society should think about data retention and the right to be forgotten.
Why now: Ongoing public debate about privacy and data retention has renewed interest in essays arguing for digital forgetting.
