DeepSeek Harness v0.2 Adds Official Desktop Apps
Original: DeepSeek Harness v0.2 Brings Official Desktop Apps to Its Open-Source Agent Harness
DeepSeek has released Harness v0.2 of its open-source agent harness, adding official desktop applications. The update means users can run the AI agent framework through native desktop apps rather than command-line tools, lowering the barrier for everyday use. Coverage so far, including from MarkTechPost, frames it as a step toward making open-source AI agents more accessible to non-developers.
Why now: The release of official desktop apps makes DeepSeek's open-source agent tooling easier to use, drawing attention from the AI developer community.
