Ukrainian Drones Deliver Four Tons of Aid to Occupied Oleshky
Ukrainian drone operators reportedly delivered around four tons of humanitarian aid to residents of Oleshky, a Ukrainian city in Kherson region that has been under Russian occupation since 2022. Heavy fighting and the destruction of the Kakhovka dam have left occupied areas on the left bank of the Dnipro River cut off from reliable supplies. The operation, if confirmed, would be a notable logistical feat.
Why now: An unusual use of heavy-lift drones to aid civilians in occupied territory is drawing attention amid ongoing fighting in the Kherson region.
