Faithful search for 2026 Pompei Supplica dates
Original: supplica alla madonna di pompei 2026
Searches for the Supplica to Our Lady of Pompei for 2026 are rising in Italy. The prayer, composed by San Bartolo Longo, is traditionally recited by pilgrims twice a year at the Pompei shrine, on 8 May and the first Sunday of October. Interest follows the centenary of San Bartolo Longo's death, marked with events in Pompei, including an exhibition of paintings by Luigi Rizzo honouring the saint who founded the sanctuary.
Why now: Following the recent canonisation and centenary of San Bartolo Longo, Italians are looking up when and how to join the traditional Supplica prayer in 2026.
