James Tedesco wins first Clive Churchill Medal
Original: clive churchill medal
Roosters fullback James Tedesco has won the Clive Churchill Medal as man of the match after leading the Sydney Roosters to the NRL grand final title. It is the first such medal of his career. Coverage is also praising Tedesco as potentially the Roosters' greatest ever player, with further discussion of Daly Cherry-Evans' role at the club and Foran's pride in the premiership bid.
Why now: The NRL grand final was just played and Tedesco's man-of-the-match award is the main post-match talking point in Australia.
