Katy Hessel's Art History Book Gets Children's Edition and US Tour
Original: Katy Hessel ‘The Story of Art Without Men’ adapted for kids; US book tour
Art historian Katy Hessel, author of 'The Story of Art Without Men', has released a children's adaptation of her book, which reframes art history by spotlighting women and underrepresented artists. She is accompanying the launch with a book tour across the United States, and the young-reader edition is drawing attention for introducing a wider audience to artists historically left out of the canon.
Why now: The new children's edition and her US book tour are giving fresh prominence to her bestselling rethinking of art history.
