Palestine Action defendants face new trial over Israeli arms plant action

Original: # British state targets # Palestine Action with yet another crooked trial Once again, # British state is # exploiting #

Supporters of Palestine Action say the British state is pursuing another trial against activists who targeted an Israeli weapons plant, and argue counter-terrorism measures are being used to secure convictions. Critics also accuse UK media of failing to cover the case fairly. The group was banned under UK terrorism laws last year, and several members remain on trial.

Why now: New legal proceedings against Palestine Action members are renewing debate over the use of terrorism legislation against protest groups.
