An amateur astrophotographer has shared a new image of the Lagoon Nebula, also known as M8 or NGC 6523, taken in September 2026 from a Bortle 5 location. The picture was shot with an 80mm refractor and an IMX585 camera, combining roughly two hours and twenty minutes each of Ha-Oiii and Oiii-Sii exposures, processed in Siril and Seti Astro Suite.
