German environment minister calls for water management rethink
Germany's environment minister has called for a fundamental rethinking of how the country manages its water resources. The appeal comes as concerns grow over droughts, floods and the strain on water supplies, with the minister urging new approaches to secure water availability for agriculture, industry and households in the years ahead.
