Spain clears Ceuta migrant camp before king's visit
Original: Ceuta migrant camp being removed ahead of Spanish king's visit
Spanish authorities are dismantling a migrant camp in Ceuta, the Spanish enclave on the North African coast, shortly before a planned visit by King Felipe VI. The timing of the operation has drawn attention, with critics suggesting the camp's removal is intended to present a cleaner image of the city for the royal visit.
Why now: The clearance is seen as politically motivated ahead of the Spanish king's high-profile visit to the city.
