Levittown Church Down to Five Members Turns to Bingo, Elvis, and Rentals
A church in Levittown has shrunk to just five members and is trying unusual ways to stay afloat, hosting bingo nights, Elvis-themed events, and renting out its space. The story highlights the struggles of small congregations keeping their buildings open as attendance declines, and locals are reacting to the creative, if unlikely, survival strategy.
Why now: The contrast between a dying congregation and its lively fundraising tactics makes the story a talking point about declining church membership.
