Runner's first stadium lap abroad takes in Fortuna Sittard

Original: Stadionrundlauf 04: Fortuna Sittard Stadion (Niederlande) Mein erster Stadionrundlauf außerhalb von Deutschland ging vom

A German runner has documented his first stadium lap outside Germany, circling the Fortuna Sittard stadium in the Netherlands. The route led from the ground into the city centre with its large pedestrian zone and historic buildings, past a market square, then out into a nearby hiking area. The write-up mixes stadium touring with sightseeing and countryside running.

Why now: Stadium running challenges are a popular fitness trend, and a cross-border route offers a fresh take for followers.
