An artist shared two pieces made with water-soluble black ink as part of Inktober, one finished with Derwent Inktense pencils and the other with gouache and Caran d'Ache Neocolor II crayons. They judged the results decent but said the underlying drawing needs to be less wonky and weird next time.

Why now: It is Inktober season, so artists are sharing daily ink-based experiments.
