Kerkrade

Local broadcasters in the Parkstad region of the southern Netherlands are working toward merging into a single regional broadcaster. The plan would combine several municipal public channels into one regional public broadcaster serving the area around Heerlen and Kerkrade. Details about timing and which stations will take part were not provided, and reactions from audiences or authorities have so far been limited.

A newly announced autonomous system number, AS213791, registered in Kerkrade in the Netherlands, is being circulated among cybersecurity watchers who track fresh network registrations. The listing notes only its location and a 2026 registration date. No operator, purpose, or security concern has been publicly identified, but new ASNs are routinely watched as potential sources of suspicious hosting or scanning activity.
