A newly announced autonomous system number, AS213791, registered in Kerkrade in the Netherlands, is being circulated among cybersecurity watchers who track fresh network registrations. The listing notes only its location and a 2026 registration date. No operator, purpose, or security concern has been publicly identified, but new ASNs are routinely watched as potential sources of suspicious hosting or scanning activity.
Why now: Security researchers routinely flag newly registered autonomous systems as they can signal new hosting infrastructure worth monitoring.
