La Paz

Club Deportivo Guadalajara is drawing attention in Mexico as its affiliate side Tapatío faces Atlético La Paz, with fans following the match through live streaming coverage. Chivas supporters are discussing the lineup and the performance of young players pushing for a place in the first team, keeping the club at the centre of Mexican football conversation.

Posts in Spanish are joking that QED — the traditional sign-off at the end of mathematical proofs — should rest in peace, tagging the remarks with quantum and physics hashtags. The comments play on the double meaning of the abbreviation: in Spanish 'que en paz descanse' means rest in peace, while QED stands for 'quod erat demonstrandum'.
