Zinnias

Gardeners are sharing the last colourful stretch of the growing season, noting that zinnias and marigolds are still flowering even as the gardening year winds down. The observation has struck a chord with flower lovers posting their own end-of-season blooms and swapping notes on which hardy annuals keep going longest.

Gardeners are sharing photos of flowers still in bloom, listing zinnias, black dianthus, cactus dahlias and sunflowers among the highlights. The posts celebrate a late-season garden that continues to flower, with hobbyists swapping notes on what is thriving and enjoying the colours in their outdoor spaces.

Photography enthusiasts are sharing close-up shots of zinnia blossoms as part of the weekly Photo Monday tradition, tagging their work in both English and German across photography and nature communities. The flower images, highlighting detail and colour, are drawing appreciative engagement from fellow photographers taking part in the recurring Monday photo-sharing ritual.

People are sharing photos of monarch butterflies feeding on zinnia flowers, with one photographer saying she had great fun taking the shots. The images are circulating under nature and gardening tags as part of a wider trend of posting calming wildlife and bloom photography.
