Commenter admits 'columbusing' NASA's humor years ago

A commenter is reflecting on having 'columbused' — discovered and repopularized as if new — NASA's jokes and comedic content several years ago, saying they first found it through a Tumblr post. They note that at the time there was little coverage of NASA's humor beyond scattered articles and oral histories, with nothing in trade books or popular culture.

Why now: Ongoing discussion about NASA's humor and who gets credit for surfacing overlooked cultural material.
