Alito says he knows who leaked Roe v. Wade draft opinion
Original: Alito says he knows who leaked Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito says he knows the identity of the person who leaked the 2022 draft opinion that overturned Roe v. Wade, according to the Washington Times. Alito did not name the individual publicly, but his claim renews attention on one of the court's most damaging breaches of confidentiality and the still-unresolved internal investigation into the leak.
Why now: A Supreme Court justice publicly claiming to know the leaker's identity reignites interest in an unsolved controversy.
