Turkey supplies Korkut air defence systems to Ukraine, sources say
Turkey has supplied Korkut air defence systems to Ukraine, according to sources cited by Middle East Eye. The Korkut is a Turkish self-propelled anti-aircraft gun system, and its delivery would mark a notable step in Turkish military support for Ukraine at a time when Kyiv continues to seek air defence capabilities. The report did not specify the number of systems transferred or the timing of the deliveries.
Why now: New reports of Turkish weapons deliveries to Ukraine are significant given Turkey's balancing act between NATO allies and Russia.
