Turkey supplies Korkut air defence systems to Ukraine, sources say
Turkey has supplied Korkut air defence systems to Ukraine, according to sources cited by Middle East Eye. The Korkut is a Turkish self-propelled anti-aircraft gun system. If confirmed, the delivery would mark a significant step in Turkish-Ukrainian defence cooperation amid Russia's ongoing war, and is likely to draw scrutiny given Ankara's careful balancing act between Kyiv and Moscow.
Why now: Fresh reporting of Turkish weapons transfers to Ukraine touches on the sensitive balance Ankara maintains with both Kyiv and Moscow.
