Texas agencies keep Flock cameras on, betting Abbott restores funding
Original: Texas agencies betting that Abbott will restore funding keep Flock cameras on
Several Texas agencies have continued operating Flock surveillance cameras despite a lapse in state funding, wagering that Governor Greg Abbott will ultimately restore the money. Why now: Debate over surveillance funding and Governor Abbott's budget authority is active in Texas right now.
