Original: Danny Trejo’s Daily Wire ICE movie suspends production after locals raise concerns
Production on a Daily Wire film about ICE, starring Danny Trejo, has been suspended after residents in the filming area raised concerns about the project. The Los Angeles Times reported the shutdown. Details about the nature of the locals' objections and whether production will resume have not been confirmed.
Why now: The combination of a well-known actor, the conservative outlet Daily Wire, and an ICE-themed film makes the shutdown politically charged news.
