Danny Trejo's Daily Wire ICE movie suspends production
Original: Danny Trejo’s Daily Wire ICE movie suspends production after locals raise concerns
Production on a Daily Wire film about ICE starring Danny Trejo has been suspended after local residents raised concerns, according to the Los Angeles Times. The project, backed by the conservative media company, had drawn opposition from the community where it was being filmed. It remains unclear when or whether shooting will resume, and no further details about the nature of the local objections have been confirmed.
Why now: The combination of a high-profile actor, a politically charged ICE subject, and community pushback makes the production's suspension newsworthy
