Israeli Defence Minister Vows to Hunt Hamas Members Abroad
Original: IDF's Hamas Hitlist: Israel's Katz Vows To Hunt Gaza Terrorists Abroad Who Were Involved In Oct 7
Israel Katz, Israel's Defence Minister, has vowed that the IDF will hunt down Hamas terrorists involved in the October 7 attacks even if they are living abroad. The pledge amounts to a hitlist of Gaza operatives who took part in the assault, signalling Israel intends to pursue them beyond Palestinian territory. The threat has drawn wide attention amid ongoing tensions over the Gaza war and questions about Israeli operations in foreign countries.
Why now: The defence minister's explicit pledge to target Hamas figures overseas signals a possible expansion of Israel's operations beyond Gaza.
