Robots Proposed for Radiation Work in Space

Original: RE: https:// flipboard.com/@flipboarduk/tec hnology-uk-edition-jskurn6iz/-/a-Zp60fl_PR_mARkI-NmE2iw%3Aa%3A26228122-%2F0

A technology story circulating in the UK argues robots should be used for hazardous work that currently exposes astronauts to radiation. Commenters agree, saying automation could remove the danger without costing jobs, since astronauts would avoid irradiation entirely. The discussion reflects growing interest in using robotics for tasks too risky for humans.

Why now: People are debating whether robots should replace humans in dangerous, radiation-heavy environments.
