INSEE launches personal inflation simulator
Original: # Inflation | Calculez l'évolution des prix selon votre consommation à l’aide du nouveau simulateur d’inflation personna
France's national statistics institute INSEE has launched a personalized inflation simulator that lets people calculate how prices have evolved based on their own consumption habits, rather than the average basket used in headline figures. The tool is available on the INSEE website and is drawing attention as households continue to feel the effects of rising prices.
Why now: Ongoing concern about the cost of living makes a tool showing personal inflation rates newly relevant.
