NATO is proceeding with its annual Steadfast Noon exercise, which involves aircraft capable of carrying nuclear weapons, despite warnings from Russia amid heightened tensions over the war in Ukraine. The long-planned drills are taking place as Moscow has issued nuclear rhetoric, and allied officials insist the exercises are routine and defensive.
