Jelle Bakker built Marblopolis, a marble run in the Netherlands stretching over 300 metres (1,000 feet) of toy track and sending hundreds of marbles through 30 distinct routes. The kinetic installation combined LEGO, K'Nex and classic marble run parts, and has now been taken apart, prompting a round of shares and appreciation of the build.
Why now: The elaborate marble machine was recently dismantled, and clips and recaps of the contraption are being shared anew.
