Readers swap creepiest sci-fi and fantasy settings
Original: SFFChat on creepy fictional settings
Science fiction and fantasy readers are discussing the fictional settings they find most unsettling, comparing haunted spaceships, doomed colonies and uncanny fantasy worlds under the community tag SFFChat. Participants share favourites, argue what makes a setting creepy rather than merely dark, and add reading recommendations from across the genre.
Why now: A recurring genre-community discussion prompt that invites readers to share opinions and book recommendations.
