Original: Hallo! 👋 Bin neu hier (61) und ohne Insta & Co. unterwegs. Möchte mal erleben, was im # Fediverse so abgeht! Ich suche A
A 61-year-old newcomer has introduced herself on Mastodon, saying she is exploring the Fediverse for the first time without any Instagram or other mainstream social media accounts. She is looking for conversation about philosophy, science fiction, motorcycling and motorcycle travel, and hiking in the Alps and Dolomites, and her greeting has drawn hundreds of supportive reactions from the community.
Why now: Users are warmly welcoming an older newcomer who joined the decentralised Fediverse without prior mainstream social media experience.
