Newcomer, 61, joins the Fediverse looking for conversation
Original: Hallo! 👋 Bin neu hier (61) und ohne Insta & Co. unterwegs. Möchte mal erleben, was im # Fediverse so abgeht! Ich suche A
A 61-year-old newcomer has introduced themselves on the decentralized social network, saying they deliberately avoid Instagram and similar platforms. They are looking for exchanges on philosophy, science fiction, motorcycle travel, and hiking in the Alps and Dolomites. The introduction drew nearly 200 likes, with users responding warmly to the arrival of someone from an older generation exploring non-commercial social media.
Why now: Warm, wholesome introductions from newcomers outside the usual demographic tend to attract broad engagement on decentralized networks.
