A new index of 21 brokers serving EU retail clients puts the all-in cost of trading a standard lot of EUR/USD between $4.50 and $13.00, with a median of $8.00. At ten lots per month, that amounts to roughly $540 to $1,560 a year, based on each broker's published fees.

Why now: Traders are comparing broker fee differences that can more than double yearly trading costs.
