A new October 2026 index of 21 brokers serving EU retail clients puts the all-in cost of a standard EUR/USD lot between $4.50 and $13.00, with a median of $8.00. At 10 lots a month, that works out to $540 to $1,560 a year. The figures are modelled from each broker's published fees.

Why now: Traders are comparing broker pricing after a fresh cost benchmark highlighted a wide gap between the cheapest and most expensive brokers.
