Review pans Lifetime's 'Center Stage for Murder'
Original: TV MOVIE REVIEW: "CENTER STAGE FOR MURDER" - LMN LMN tries to remake 'Black Swan' without any of it's style or storytell
Lifetime Movie Network has aired 'Center Stage for Murder', a new TV movie set in the ballet world, and a new review is unimpressed. The reviewer argues the film attempts to rework 'Black Swan' but lacks that film's style and storytelling, making for a flat thriller rather than a compelling take on ambitious dancers and obsession.
Why now: The film is newly released as part of Lifetime's autumn thriller lineup and is drawing critical reaction.
