LMN's 'Center Stage for Murder' Panned as Weak 'Black Swan' Remake
Original: TV MOVIE REVIEW: "CENTER STAGE FOR MURDER" - LMN LMN tries to remake 'Black Swan' without any of it's style or storytell
A new Lifetime Movie Network thriller, 'Center Stage for Murder', is drawing criticism from reviewers. A television movie review argues the film attempts to recast the ballet psychological drama 'Black Swan' as a TV thriller but lacks that film's style and storytelling. The review circulated during the Halloween-season 'Shocktober' discussion of horror and thriller television movies, alongside mentions of 'Dancing With the Devil' and other Lifetime movies.
Why now: The film is newly aired and the Halloween-season appetite for thriller TV movies is driving review discussion.
