Original: Otto English: "Russia has been at war with Britain for years and the EU referendum was an open goal which they exploited

Writer Otto English says Russia has effectively been at war with Britain for years and that the 2016 EU referendum was an open goal Moscow exploited. He adds that Brexit supporters may dislike the claim but cannot simply deny Russian interference.

Why now: Renewed debate over Russian interference in British politics and the Brexit referendum keeps this accusation in circulation.
