The United States is withdrawing from the World Health Organization, one year after President Trump signed the executive order initiating the exit. Supporters celebrate the end of 77 years of membership, arguing the US should not fund the agency; critics have warned the move weakens global health cooperation and leaves America without a seat at the table during future health crises.
