A disabled user living below the poverty line has issued an urgent mutual aid appeal, saying their funding request has stalled for five and a half days with $295 still needed to cover October rent-adjacent essentials: food, pharmacy costs, an appointment co-pay and a $48 phone bill. They are asking 12 people to contribute $25 each, noting even $5 would help, and receiving support from mutual aid and disability communities.
Why now: Mutual aid appeals circulate widely when progress stalls, prompting communities to boost the request before the deadline.
