A youth organisation known as GYM says its land fundraiser has gone 20 days without receiving support. The group wants to buy land in Byerima to train young people, establish a large tree nursery, and grow food for vulnerable families. It is appealing for donations, stressing it cannot secure the land alone and that the project is central to its mission.
Why now: The organisation is making an urgent public appeal because its fundraiser has stalled and the land purchase is critical to its programs.
