Amsterdam server seized at request of US authorities
Original: Seized server Autistici/Inventati (A/I) in Amsterdam for U.S. authorities
Dutch police have seized a server in Amsterdam operated by the activist collective Autistici/Inventati, acting on a request from United States authorities linked to antifa allegations. The collective has provided anonymous hosting and communication tools for activist groups for over two decades. The seizure is drawing attention to questions about digital privacy, international police cooperation, and the targeting of left-wing activist infrastructure.
Why now: US authorities taking control of European activist server infrastructure raises concerns about online privacy and cross-border policing of political movements.
