Musk asked Trump to slow Starlink access for Ukraine
Original: Musk approached Trump to slow down Starlink in Ukraine
Elon Musk approached Donald Trump asking to slow down or restrict Starlink services used by Ukraine, according to a Telegraph report. Starlink connectivity is critical to Ukrainian military communications and drone operations, so any curbing of the service would directly affect Kyiv's war effort. The report is drawing criticism of Musk's influence over battlefield infrastructure and renewed scrutiny of his role in US-Ukraine policy.
Why now: The claim that Musk sought to limit a service vital to Ukraine's war effort raises concerns about private control of critical military infrastructure.
