Original: The cuttlefish are not fish # gili # giliislands # lombok # diving # scuba # trawangan # diveandstay # giliair # singapo

Divers around the Gili Islands off Lombok, Indonesia, are pointing out that cuttlefish, despite their name, are not fish at all but cephalopods, relatives of octopuses and squid. The remark is being shared alongside scuba diving content from spots like Gili Trawangan and Gili Air, where the animals are a popular sight on reef dives.

Why now: Diving communities are sharing marine life facts and encounters from the popular Gili Islands dive sites.
