Musk pledges SpaceX shares for every American child
Original: Musk pledges to give a share of his SpaceX company to 'every kid in America'
Elon Musk says he will give a share of SpaceX to every kid in America, a pledge reported by the Associated Press alongside related remarks about donations involving Anthropic. Details on how shares would be held, funded or distributed, and on any legal structure for minors, were not provided, leaving observers to question whether the promise is practical or symbolic.
Why now: The scale and vagueness of a billionaire promising equity in a private space company to millions of children is sparking debate about feasibility and motives.
