Democratic fundraising texts spark spam complaints
Original: Democratic fundraising text spam
Voters are complaining about a flood of Democratic Party fundraising text messages, describing them as relentless spam. Many recipients say the texts arrive daily, often from unfamiliar numbers, and that unsubscribing fails to stop them. The complaints reflect broader frustration with aggressive small-dollar donation drives, with some people saying the constant appeals are turning them off the party altogether.
Why now: A surge in campaign fundraising texts has irritated voters who are venting publicly about the volume and difficulty of opting out.
