A playful tool names any color you pick
Original: Color Names
A website that generates humorous, pizza-themed names for any color is drawing attention online. Users enter or pick a color and the site returns an invented name for its exact shade. Discussion centres on the fun of naming colors precisely rather than relying on generic terms like red or blue, and on the programming behind matching names to millions of shades.
Why now: People enjoy novelty tools that turn technical data like hex codes into playful, shareable names.
