SpaceX to attempt catching both Starship and booster on next flight
Original: Elon Musk: SpaceX Will Attempt to Catch BOTH Starship & Booster on Flight 15!
Elon Musk says SpaceX will try to catch both the Starship upper stage and the Super Heavy booster with its launch tower during the program's 15th test flight. The company has already caught the booster on earlier flights, but catching Starship itself would be a first and a major step toward full rocket reusability. Space enthusiasts are closely watching for a launch date and whether the ambitious dual-catch attempt succeeds.
Why now: Catching both stages would be an unprecedented milestone in reusable rocket technology, drawing wide attention to the upcoming test flight.
