Musk says SpaceX will try catching Starship and booster on Flight 15
Original: Elon Musk: SpaceX Will Attempt to Catch BOTH Starship & Booster on Flight 15!
Elon Musk says SpaceX will attempt to catch both the Starship upper stage and its Super Heavy booster during the rocket's fifteenth test flight. The plan would extend the tower 'chopstick' catching technique, already demonstrated with the booster, to the Starship itself. The announcement has drawn wide attention from space fans tracking SpaceX's push toward fully reusable launch hardware.
Why now: SpaceX is preparing its next Starship test flight and the plan to catch both stages would mark a major step toward full reusability.
