Open Sound Connect Brings Sony Headphone Control to Mac
Original: Open Sound Connect – Control Sony Headphones from Your Mac
A new macOS app called Open Sound Connect lets users control their Sony headphones directly from a Mac, filling a gap left by Sony's own software, which is mainly aimed at Windows and mobile. Early reactions suggest Mac users with Sony headphones are keen for native controls for features like ambient sound modes and equalizer settings.
Why now: Sony does not offer official Mac software for its headphones, so Mac users are eager for a third-party control tool.
