Open Sound Connect Lets Mac Users Control Sony Headphones

Original: Open Sound Connect – Control Sony Headphones from Your Mac

A new app called Open Sound Connect brings Sony headphone controls to macOS, letting users manage playback, volume and settings from their Mac without the official Sony app. Developer discussion has surfaced on Hacker News, where the project reached a top spot, with tech readers weighing in on its usefulness for Sony headphone owners on desktop.

Why now: Sony's official desktop support for its headphones is limited, so a third-party Mac control app fills a gap users care about.
